Regular Oral Health Checks And Hygiene

At our practice, we understand the importance of preventative dental care and believe that routine checkups and hygiene treatments play a critical role in maintaining optimal dental health. Our experienced dentists offer comprehensive dental examinations to identify any potential issues before they become major concerns. Regular cleaning and hygiene treatments are also recommended to remove plaque and tartar buildup and prevent gum disease.

Fillings and crowns

We offer a range of treatments to help repair and restore damaged teeth. Two common solutions we offer are fillings and crowns. Fillings are used when a tooth has a cavity or is otherwise damaged but still has enough healthy tooth material to support the filling. A crown, on the other hand, is used when a tooth is severely damaged or weakened and requires more extensive repair and support.

Root Canal Therapy

If a tooth is severely damaged or infected, this procedure could be exactly what it needs to get healthy again. We’re confident that this procedure can restore the health of your teeth and eliminate any discomfort, swelling, or potential tooth loss. Our skilled dentists utilise advanced techniques and technology to remove the damaged pulp tissue and efficiently clean and disinfect the area, resulting in a speedy and effective treatment that can be completed in just a visit or two. With root canal therapy, you won’t have to worry about pain, swelling, or even tooth loss.

Dentures

You don’t have to deal with missing teeth anymore! We offer a range of removable dentures that will help bring back your natural-looking, beautiful smile. Not only will they enhance your appearance, but they’ll also make eating and speaking a breeze. Our team is ready to assist you in finding the perfect denture that fits your budget and lifestyle. There’s no need to stress about how to fill the gaps in your teeth, as we’ve got you covered with different options such as partial dentures for those with remaining natural teeth and complete dentures for those without. Let us help you bring back your confidence with a winning smile!

I was pleased with my visit and felt that the new dentist took time to get to know me (as it was my first visit since Helen’s retirement). What I would like to note is that the costs of treatments at the practice have reached ridiculous heights, to the point where I am considering leaving the practice (having been there for 30 years and being the third generation of my family to use this dentist). £430 for two fillings is absolutely absurd, private practice or not, especially when we pay £20 a month for DenPlan.

I’ve always struggled with confidence at the dentist due to years of negative experiences, but Ormskirk Cottage Dentist completely changed that. Huge thank you to Michael Cole — I’ve never felt so comfortable or relaxed in the chair. Professional, calming, and genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend to anyone with dental anxiety!
